In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, as an overseas Chinese enterprise in Zhelin Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai, Shuanghua holdings limited (collectively referred to as “the Group”) has taken the lead in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with a strong sense of social responsibility and mission, working together to overcome the difficulties.

The Group's "Shuanghua Smart Cold Chain Industrial Park" in Zhelin Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai, actively assumed the responsibility of being a "Sky Star" supply reserve base for Fengxian District. As the operational management entity of the Shuanghua Smart Cold Chain Industrial Park, Shanghai Shuanghua Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, acted with the belief of "no waiting but acting immediately," swiftly clearing the links of storage and supply, strengthening personnel control and scheduling at the fastest speed, checking and sorting out the situation of on-duty personnel, and strictly implementing closed-loop epidemic prevention and control measures. At the same time, we strengthened the sterilization of the site, vehicles, and food packaging to ensure the safety of the people's food. From March 28th to April 15th, with the stable operation of the Shuanghua supply reserve base, more than 1,000 tons of emergency supplies, including more than ten varieties such as vegetables, frozen meat, eggs, and dairy products, were supplied and distributed to "Sky Star" convenience supermarkets, enterprises and institutions, government agencies, villages, and towns in Fengxian District, Shanghai, providing full support for the supply of daily necessities during the epidemic prevention and control period.

Meanwhile, as a core transit base for well-known e-commerce platforms and supermarkets such as Hema and Wal-Mart, the Shuanghua Smart Cold Chain Industrial Park, while doing a good job of epidemic prevention and control and emergency supply reserve within the park, also fully supported the normal operation of enterprises ensuring supplies for daily life, completing the delivery of more than 650 tons of supplies, and safely delivering various daily necessities to Hema supermarkets and Sam's Club stores across the region in a timely manner.

While ensuring supplies, the Group actively cooperated with various government regulations and requirements to ensure that COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control and work safety measures were implemented. On-site personnel actively cooperated with relevant leaders from the Fengxian District Market Supervision and Regulation Bureau, Zhelin Town Market Supervision and Regulation Office, and other departments to conduct inspections and patrols of food circulation and operation processes, operated according to the safety requirements of various products, and fully invested in COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work on the basis of doing a good job of food safety management, making the supply work orderly and truly busy but not chaotic.

During the period of ensuring supplies, government leaders at all levels were also very concerned about the COVID-19 epidemic prevention safety and operation of the Shuanghua supply base during the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 30th, leaders from the Fengxian District Economic Commission, Agriculture and Rural Affairs Commission, and other relevant departments in Shanghai visited the Shuanghua supply base to guide vegetable emergency safeguard work, and Shanghai Television reporters also reported on the work of Shuanghua supply base; on April 6th, leaders from the Fengxian District Discipline Inspection Commission and Zhelin Town, and other relevant departments visited the Shuanghua supply base for inspection and research, affirmed the work results of Shuanghua supply base on site, and provided in-depth guidance on operations and epidemic prevention work; the next day, on April 7th, leaders from the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee and the Government Office of Fengxian District, Shanghai, and other relevant departments visited the site to comfort the on-site employees of the Shuanghua supply base, inquired about the difficulties of the on-site work, and put forward COVID-19 epidemic prevention requirements such as strengthening inspection and disinfection, protecting personnel. The concern and guidance of the leaders not only boosted everyone's morale but also strengthened everyone's confidence in winning the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
